Ἀγαπητοί μας,
«Χριστός γεννᾶται δοξάσατε, Χριστός ἐξ οὐρανῶν ἀπαντήσατε».
Ἦρθαν τά Χριστούγεννα. Ἡ Ἐκκλησία μᾶς καλεῖ νά ἑορτάσουμε τά Γενέθλια τοῦ Σωτῆρος Χριστοῦ θεοπρεπῶς, μέ λαμπρότητα καί εὐφροσύνη. Αὐτή, λοιπόν, τήν εὔσημη μέρα περιχαρής σπεύδω νά ἐπικοινωνήσω φιλάδελφα μέ τήν εὐγένειά σας καί νά χαιρετήσω τήν ἀγάπη σας.
Εὔχομαι νά ἔχετε πλούσια τήν εὐλογία τοῦ Νηπιάσαντος Σωτῆρος Χριστοῦ στά θεοφιλῆ ἔργα σας καί ἀδιάκοπη τήν ἐπισκίαση τοῦ Θεανθρώπου στήν πορεία τῆς ζωῆς σας.
Προσεύχομαι ἐκτενῶς τό ἄπλετο φῶς τῆς Γεννήσεως τοῦ Θείου Λυτρωτῆ νά ἀποβεῖ φωτεινός φάρος καί ἀλάθητος ὁδηγός ὅλης τῆς δεινοπαθούσης ἀνθρωπότητος. Ὁ Θεός ἄς καταξιώσει ὅλους νά διέλθουμε εἰρηνικά τήν ἑόρτιο περίοδο τῶν Χριστουγέννων καί νά χαροῦμε μιά εὐλογημένη καινούργια χρονιά 2010.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Newly-Born Lord,
“Christ is born, glorify Him; Christ comes from Heaven, come and meet Him.”
Christmas is with us once again. The Church invites us to celebrate the Nativity of Christ the Saviour with splendour and joy and in a godly manner. At this notable time I hasten to fraternally communicate with your nobility and greet you.
May you have the bountiful blessing of Christ, the Newly-Born Saviour, in your God-pleasing deeds and may you have the continuous protection of The Theanthropos in the course of your life.
I whole-heartedly pray that the abundant light of the Nativity of Christ the Redeemer, may become a bright beacon and an unmistakable guide to all of humanity which is confronted with a variety of problems. May God enable all of us to celebrate the Christmas-tide in peace and enjoy a blessed New Year 2010.

Ἀγαπητά μας παιδιά,
«Δόξα ἐν ὑψίστοις Θεῷ καί ἐπί γῆς εἰρήνη, ἐν ἀνθρώποις εὐδοκία». (Λουκ. β΄ 14)
Χαρούμενοι γιορτάζουμε καί φέτος τή Γέννηση τοῦ Χριστοῦ. Τό εὐαγγέλιο λέγει ὅτι τότε οἱ Ἄγγελοι ἀνεβοκατέβαιναν στούς οὐρανούς καί ἔψαλλαν πανηγυρικά πάνω ἀπό τή σπηλιά, ὅπου φιλοξενήθηκε ὁ Υἱός τοῦ Θεοῦ.
Οἱ βοσκοί ἄκουσαν τή μελωδία καί ἔτρεξαν στή σπηλιά, ὅπου ἀντάμωσαν τό Θεῖο Βρέφος. Οἱ σοφοί Μάγοι ἦρθαν ἀπό τήν Ἀνατολή, προσκύνησαν καί προσέφεραν τά δῶρά τους. Ἡ Παναγία τόν ζέσταινε στή μητρική ἀγκαλιά της μέ τήν ἀγάπη της. Ὁ γέροντας καί προστάτης τους Ἰωσήφ παρακολουθοῦσε εὐλαβικά καί ὑπομονετικά ὅλα τά γεγονότα.
Ἐμεῖς οἱ Χριστιανοί ζοῦμε τοῦτα τά κοσμοσωτήρια γεγονότα ἐδῶ καί εἰκοσιένα αἰῶνες. Μέ εὐγνωμοσύνη δοξολογοῦμε τόν Πλάστη Θεό. Σᾶς περιμένουμε στήν Ἐκκλησία νά γιορτάσουμε τά Χριστούγεννα καί τόν καινούργιο χρόνο 2010.

Dear Children, CHRISTMAS 2009
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
(Luke 2:14)
Filled with Joy, once again, we celebrate the Birth of Christ. The Gospel says that at that time, the Angels ascended and descended Heaven chanting happily above the manger in which the Son of God found refuge.
The shepherds heard the melody and hastened to the manger, where they met the Divine Child. The Wise Men came from the East, worshipped Him and offered Him gifts. Panagia, His mother, kept Him warm in her bosom expressing her love. Joseph the elder and their protector observed the events in awe and with patience.
We, Christians, have been experiencing these world-saving events for the past twenty-one centuries. Gratefully we glorify God the creator. We look forward to see you in Church to celebrate Christmas as well as the New Year 2010.
